Few days are as festive as a July 14th in Paris! Your Hotel Les Bulles de Paris, which passionately loves its sparkling, joyous, liberated city, invites you to share all that makes the French National Day so special. Check out our guide below!
The Bastille Day parade
The July 14th celebrations in Paris always start in the morning with the Bastille Day military parade on the Champs-Elysees. Make sure that you set out early from the Hotel Les Bulles de Paris and take a stroll along the traffic-free avenue to find the best spot from which to admire the Republican Guard and their cavalry horses, the impeccable French Foreign Legion and the impressive formation flying of the Patrouille de France, the precision aerobatic team of the French Air Force, whose Alpha Jets streak the Parisian sky with blue, white and red smoke trails. Once the parade is over, why not go to the Jardin des Tuileries or the Trocadero to enjoy a picnic amidst the good-natured atmosphere?
Great moments to savour
Among the must-sees of a July 14th celebration in Paris is the fireworks display around the Eiffel Tower. All Paris gathers on the Champs de Mars to admire the multicoloured pyrotechnics that are mirrored in the waters of the Seine and illuminate the structure of the majestic Iron Lady. Then it’s time to head to the various barracks for a traditional firefighters' ball! You can dance the night away under the stars and between the fire trucks ... Or if you simply want to stroll the streets at random, you’ll find that the festive ambiance is everywhere on this day of celebration.
There is always a good reason to drink champagne, and one of the best can be found in Paris on July 14th. Your Hotel Les Bulles de Paris team will be happy to help you plan your Bastille Day!
