This summer, during your stay at the Hotel Les Bulles de Paris, nothing could be more delightful – and healthy – than to explore Paris by bike. Practical, economical, sporty and ecologically sound, the bicycle is the ideal means of transport for discovering the capital’s myriad attractions, by day or night. On your two-wheeled adventure you’ll happen across charming streets and little-known neighbourhoods you might otherwise have missed!
Get in the saddle to explore the capital
A push of the pedals and you’re away, completely free to explore the most beautiful city in the world at your own pace and following your own itinerary! The beautiful monuments of the capital are within easy reach by bike, and you can stop at your leisure to observe an intriguing architectural detail or a particular engraving on a facade. While enjoying the freedom of the saddle you’re even more likely to fall under the charm of Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Place de la Concorde or the Orsay Museum. Paris being a relatively compact city, you can easily traverse her from north to south in less than an hour.
Romantic bike rides in Paris
During the day you can explore the banks of the Seine and follow this beautiful river from one end of the city to the other, crossing its bridges on a whim, or turning off to navigate its pretty canals. You’ll pass through the capital’s historic districts such as the Marais, the Ile Saint-Louis, Odeon, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and more. In the evening, the lights of Paris will place you under their spell as you cross the courtyard of the Louvre, then head up the Avenue de l'Opera. Or, if your calves are up to it, climb Montmartre to relish the spectacular view of the entire city from the steps of the Sacré Cœur Basilica.
